Precision engineered using latest technology our range meets the international quality standards. We are efficiently led under the dynamic leadership of our Managing Director Mr. K. K. Nagpal, who is a chemical engineer by profession and has done id engineering studies from BITS Pilani. He has years of rich experience in this industry that he has gained during through work experience & industrial exposure. Due to his sharp business acumen, single minded approach & persistent motivation, the organization is growing by leaps and bounds setting benchmarks for others to follow. We are headquartered at Delhi, which is the capital city of India and hub of all business activities in the sub continent region. Our all the production processes are proficiently handled by 2 manufacturing units, from which one unit named Bengal Bitumen is located in Kosi district Mathura (Uttar Pradesh). This unit manufacturers Bituminous products, APP membrane and Hession based felt of ISI make. The second unit named Broad Base is situated in Karnal (Haryana) and produces blown bitumen products. Both units possess the latest hi-tech machines and assist us to be a leader in domestic as well as overseas markets. We stand firmly on the pillars of quality and innovation. About Director
Bengal Bitumen A Profile Mr. KK Nagpal is a Chemical Engineer (BE Hons.) from BITS Pilani (1973) and also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Process and design From IIT Delhi (1974). Armed with these impressive qualifications, he joined Indian Oil Corporation. IOC sent him for training to Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun. After the training, he worked in Haldia refinery in West Bengal as a Process Engineer from 1975 till 1980.Then the entrepreneurship beckoned and he put up his first bitumen blowing plant in Haldia in 1981. In between he also started an agrochemical business and marketed his products exclusively in North India. In 1990, he put-up another bitumen blowing plant in Kosi Kalan dist Mathura (UP).The plant was further expanded during the period 1996-2002 to manufacture hessian based ‘The Great Bengal felt’ plant and APP modified bitumen membrane plant. During this period in 1998 Mr. Nagpal successfully put up another bitumen blowing plant in Panipat. A garment unit manufacturing man’s bottoms/trousers was put up in 2006 and is running successfully. |

Our Manufacturing Facility
For a company that manufacture a wide variety of bitumen and other bituminous products, it has to have a state-of-the-art infrastructure with all types of modern equipments and machinery. We are backed by 2 manufacturing units, which are well equipped with different kinds of hi-tech machines. These manufacturing units are spread over a large sprawling area.
In order to meet the requirements of effective production and dispatch, we have segregated our manufacturing units into different divisions, which include:

Quality Assurance
Quality has been a central force for our organization and therefore we give prime emphasis on the quality of our entire range and hold ISO certification. Our Quality Control and Assurance (QC&A) division is manned by well qualified and highly experienced chemical engineers, who implement stringent quality check measures, which start right from the procurement of raw materials and continue up to the final shipment of the consignment.
We procure all the raw material from the authenticated vendors of the market. Prior to sourcing, we test the material on the basis of formulation, concentration and dilution.
Furthermore, every stage of production is monitored and all batches of production are subjected to random testing for compliance to defined standards. Owing to our compact quality check program, we have been accredited by the prestigious certificate of ISO. |
